Holy Pilgrimage

DAY 1 - CAIRO

Arrival and visa processing, transfer to the hotel and lodging.

DAY 2 - CAIRO

Breakfast. In the morning we will visit the Pyramids of Keops, Kefren, Mikerinos and the Sphinx. Approximate duration of 3 hours. Afternoon free, it is suggested to make optional visit to Memphis and Sakkara, the ruins of the original Cairo. Accommodation.

DAY 3 - CAIRO - LUXOR

Breakfast. Departure in EgyptAir regular flight to Luxor. Reception by our staff and transfer to the fluvial motorboat. Full board on board. (Lunch or dinner depending on the boarding time) Lodging.

DAY 4 - NILe CRUISE

We will cross the Nile to visit the Necropolis of Thebes: Valley of the Kings, Funerary Temple of Hachepsut known by Deir Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Visit the largest and most majestic temples of antiquity: Karnak and Luxor. At the scheduled time we will sail towards Esna. Crossing the Esna Lock to continue sailing towards Edfu. Night on board.

DAY 5 - NILe CRUISE (FULL BOARD)

Visit of the temple of Edfu, dedicated to the God Hawk, Horus. Navigation, and visit the temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus; continuing towards Aswan. Night on board.

DAY 6 - NILE CRUISE

Possibility of the optional Abu Simbel excursion (lunch on board), visit of the Philae temple and walk in Faluca. As an optional excursion, you can continue by boat to Nubian Village, the region where the first settlers were located in ancient Egypt. They will know a typical home and a school where they will learn the basics of their native language and interact with the community. The optional visit includes a camel ride for half an hour to get to the village, a complimentary drink, and a henna tattoo made by the hosts.

DAY 7 - ASWAN – CAIRO

Breakfast. Disembark and transfer to the airport to take the domestic flight to Cairo. Arrival and Free day. There is an optional excursion to see the most emblematic sites of the city. The Citadel of Saladin, Alabaster Mosque, Khan el Khalili Market, Egyptian Museum and Coptic Quarter accompanied by private transportation guide. Your contracting is possible at the destination. DAY 8 - CAIRO - Saint Catherine

Breakfast and check out and at the scheduled time transfer by road to the Sinai Peninsula via the Ahmed Hamdy tunnel below the Suez Canal, to travel from Africa to Asia. Visit to Ayun Musa or the fountains of Moses (Mara), to start to follow the steps of the holy family after enjoying marvelous Nile cruise  then departure to the city of Santa Catharine. Arrival at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 9 - Saint Catherine THE MOUNT OF MOISES I Sinai – Jordan Via Eilat

Departure around 2:30 in the morning, towards Mount Moses or Mount Sinai (Mount Horeb) 2285m high, where the prophet Moses received from God the tables of the law while the Hebrew people camped at the foot of the mountain, from the top of the mountain we can see the sunrise and the mount of Saint Catherine the highest summit of the peninsula 2637m. Going down from the mountain we will visit the monastery of Saint Catherine (IF POSSIBLE) located at 1570m high with its impressive walls built between 527 and 565 by order of the Emperor Justinian in the Biblical place of the burning bush. The monastery owes its name to Santa Catalina, martyr Alexandrina died in the year 395 whose body transported by angels would be discovered 5 centuries later on the top of the mountain that bears his name, The monastery is the smallest diocese in the world and the oldest active monastery. Its library has the oldest manuscripts in the world after the Vatican. Return to the hotel, breakfast, and at the scheduled time departure to the border point where we will leave Egypt. Arrival in Arava, via Eilat, transfer to the border of Jordan Border procedures and entry to Jordan. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 10 - WADI RUM – PETRA

Breakfast. We start the day with the excursion to the desert of Wadi Rum and ride in 4x4 vehicles for two hours. We will enter the pink sands of this desert, which has a special charm provided by the granite massifs that nature has modeled with whimsical shapes. At the end of the transfer to Petra. Free time. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 11 – PETRA

Breakfast. Day dedicated entirely to the visit of Petra, known as the "pink city", where more than 2,000 years ago the Nabataeans located the capital of their empire for 500 years, carving admirable temples and tombs in the pink mountains and using advanced agricultural systems and water conduction. The route begins with the Tomb of the Obelisks, continuing along the Siq, a canyon more than 1 km long, behind which the Treasure is discovered, a colossal tomb decorated with columns and sculptures of incomparable refinement and beauty. Continue to the street of the facades and the theater to approach the 850 steps that will take us to the imposing Monastery "El Deir". Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 12 - PETRA - MADABA - NEBO - ALLENBY – JERUSALEM

Breakfast and departure to Madaba. Arrival and visit of the church of San Jorge, with its famous mosaic that represents all the biblical territories. Continuation to Mount Nebo, from whose top Moses saw the promised land. Visit of the mosaic collection. Continue to the Dead Sea, down to almost 400 meters below sea level. Transfer to the border of Allenby or Sheik Hussein. Continuation to Israel. Accommodation.

DAY 13 - MONTE DE LOS OLIVOS - MODERN CITY holy family

Breakfast. Departure via Monte Scopus towards the Mount of Olives to appreciate a magnificent panoramic view of the city. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Basilica of the Agony. Continue to the modern part of the city to visit the Book Sanctuary in the Israel Museum where the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Jerusalem Herodian Model are found. Visits to Yad Vashem, a Holocaust reminder museum and the Ein Karem neighborhood, where the Churches of San Juan Bautista and the Visitation are located. Accommodation.

DAY 14 - ANTIGUA CITY - BELÉN

Breakfast. Departure to the ancient city of Jerusalem to see the Wailing Wall, the Temple Mount *, the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Continue to Mount Sion where the Tomb of King David, the Cenacle and the Abbey of the Dormition. In the afternoon visit to the Basilica and Grotto of the Nativity and the Field of the Shepherds in Bethlehem *. Accommodation.

DAY 15 - JERUSALEM

Breakfast. Free Day in Jerusalem. Possibility to do an Optional Excursion to Masada & the Dead Sea. Accommodation.

DAY 16 – JERUSALEM

Breakfast. Free Day in Jerusalem. Possibility to do an Optional Excursion to Nazareth, Tiberias and Galilee. Accommodation.

DAY 17 - JERUSALEM - BEN GURION

Breakfast and Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport, for your flight back to your City.
